Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing portfolio and program delivery of the expected business value/outcome.
  • Managing the intake process for incoming demands, including requests for new services, changes, or enhancements.
  • Developing and maintaining demand management plans, including timelines, resource projections, and contingency plans.
  • Oversee initiatives of significant magnitude regarding complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing; allocate appropriate resources to meet timely completion of specific initiative tasks.
  • Track and report on portfolio and program financials; Oversee the financial management, project/resource budgets and planning for staff unit, provide executive level reporting and analysis.
  • Responsible for managing and owning the operational expenditures (OpEx) and organization budgets, and includes partnering with the PMO for managing capital expenditures (CapEx) budgets.
  • Review and provide input on vendor deliverables and SOWs to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Manage and track workforce allocation and utilization.
  • Oversee vendor management activities including contracts, budgets, and value assessment.
  • Responsible for portfolio leveling to avoid unnecessary ramp up and ramp down along with identify and mitigating portfolio risks.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to build on the team s skills and abilities.
  • Contribute to the establishment of common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management, and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Use metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organizational level.
  • Facilitate project/program reviews and checkpoint meetings.
  • Escalate issues that threaten portfolio and project success.
  • Manage multiple Scrum and project teams handling all aspects of solution delivery.
  • Oversee Agile processes and promote the use of Agile best practices and methodology.
  • Ensure delivery of initiatives are on time, on budget and fall within organizational performance targets.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to optimize execution speed and effectiveness.
  • Track and communicate overall team progress.
  • Ensure initiative scope, schedule, budget, quality, and associated metrics are available, accurate, and meet corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Support ongoing strategy execution of new initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in portfolio management, budget management, project management, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Scrum, SAFE Agile
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Master s degree
