Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system provisioning, maintenance, and administration, with a focus on delivering reliable IT infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily system administration tasks, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and maintenance of hardware, software, and storage systems.
Manage and support Windows Active Directory, ensuring the stability and security of network and backup systems.
Utilize and maintain monitoring and management tools to ensure optimal system performance.
Provide clear and effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Administer and support virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vCenter.
Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell to enhance system automation and efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration or a related field.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory and Exchange Server.
Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, including Windows Server 2008.
Familiarity with SharePoint administration and support.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
