RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team in Tempe, AZ. This is 100% onsite position working with cutting edge manufacturing teams. Candidates with manufacturing experience and experience working with stakeholders in both Agile and Waterfall environments are encouraged to apply. This is a contract position with strong likelihood of conversion to full time process.

Summary:
The Project Manager is a role that is integral to Lean-Agile on both the team and company level. This role is an advocate for Lean-Agile within the company and works to help the team with agile practices while maintaining a focus of work completion.

Duties:
* Track, coordinate, and push projects forward for our Applications Engineering, Product Development, and Production teams
* Keep stakeholders and senior leaders apprised of project status, risks, blockers, and successes
* Project Manager should have a firm understanding of bringing products to market, engineering practices, and at least a good base understanding of Lean Six Sigma; They will also be acting as scrum master for one small team, keeping them on track to meet quarterly goals through bi-weekly planning
* Handle changes in project scope and manage the impact on project schedules, equipment usage, and team member capacity
* Aptitude for analyzing complex issues and finding creative solutions to overcome challenges
* Demonstrates proactive efforts in eliminating or minimizing the impact of blockers and effectively addressing delivery challenges
* Identify potential project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues as they arise
* Works with teams within a defined cadence of delivery
* Part of the Agile team structure; Participates in Agile ceremonies to incorporate capacity and capabilities into delivery plans

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Science, Engineering, Technology, etc.) or equivalent work experience
* Certifications in Project Management, Agile, or Product Management, advanced certifications preferred
* 10+ years in a technical role with increasing responsibility
* Minimum 6 years of experience in Agile delivery environments and has demonstrated the ability to successfully deliver technology projects to customers
* An Agile Servant Leadership mindset
* Analytical mindset with a keen eye for problem-solving and risk management
* Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement at the individual and team levels
* Strong collaboration and a high degree of accountability to advance small, medium, and large projects aligned to product roadmaps to maximize value delivered
* Possess a lean-agile mindset and embodies the agile core values of openness, courage, respect, focus, and commitment
* Skilled in authentic listening, communication, managing conflict, and instilling trust
* Trained in a variety of Project and Agile frameworks
* Ability to guide teams through decision making and action taking
* Servant leader with the ability to use influence to lead for the greater good of the organization and not for personal gain or power
* Ability to create (comprehensive) project plans, define milestones, set realistic timelines, meet budget constraints, and collaborate with team members effectively to deliver solutions, with defined quality measures

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
