Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
Responsibilities:
- Planning & Scheduling: Create and manage release schedules, ensuring all necessary components are ready for deployment and coordinating interdependencies between various teams.
- Coordination: Act as a liaison between development, testing, and operations teams, ensuring smooth workflow and communication throughout the release lifecycle.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks that could impact the release timeline, scope, or quality, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software releases meet established quality standards and performance benchmarks through rigorous testing and monitoring.
- Deployment Management: Facilitate and coordinate the deployment of software into production environments, which can involve managing automated deployment pipelines.
- Communication: Communicate key project plans, commitments, schedule changes, and release checkpoints to all stakeholders and team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze post-release performance and feedback to identify areas for improvement, driving enhancements in the release process.
- Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating teams and informing stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that arise during the release process.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development, CI/CD tools, and release automation is often required.
- Project Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to review project status, analyze data, and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
