Sr. AWS Architect

Stratacent is seeking an AWS Architect, who will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust AWS cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to understand their requirements and leverage your expertise to deliver scalable and efficient AWS environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure as code, automation, and a passion for staying updated with the latest cloud technologies.

Location – Dallas, TX/McLean, VA

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud environments according to best practices and client requirements.
• Implement automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of AWS infrastructure through continuous monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and optimize AWS services.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, and proactively recommend enhancements to existing architectures.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive years of experience working as an AWS Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
