RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a QA Analyst for a client's Payment team in Jacksonville, FL. The Payment team is responsible for executing testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows
* Document testing according to the procedures
* Observing, testing, diagnosing, and reporting faults in the software and hardware
* Prepare and execute test plans and test cases for projects and product releases
* Learn different QA testing methodologies and standards
* Work closely with the Development and Sales Engineering team
* Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
* Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience in software testing and agile software development environment
* Experience in coding or related area will be a big plus
* Excellent communication skills: clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must
* Ability to work as part of a team; Able to work well with others, both in-person and in a remote environment
* Able to communicate technically with the team, but also communicate clearly with the business in non-technical language
* Time management skills; Excellent self-management and time management is essential; They will be managing multiple competing priorities in a timely manner, to stay on schedule
* Able to use Agile and Kanban methodologies for SDLC; Maintain work backlog through JIRA
* Must be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed
* Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix base is huge plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
