Job Details
Job Summary: The Business Analyst - Automated Testing Support will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of automated testing processes with an external vendor. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in both business analysis and software testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for automated testing in the format needed by the Vendor
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications for the external vendor.
- Ensure requirements are clear, comprehensive, and testable.
- Vendor Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the external vendor.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communications with the vendor to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to project timelines and quality standards. report to PMO
- Test Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development of automated test strategies and plans.
- Coordinate the creation and maintenance of test scripts and test data.
- Ensure proper configuration and management of test environments.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and validate test cases developed by the vendor and work with Projects to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Conduct preliminary testing to identify defects and work with the vendor to resolve issues.
- Ensure thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and defects.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular status reports on automated testing activities to stakeholders.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of testing activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on testing outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with business users, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users during the testing phase.
- Provide training and support to business users on automated testing tools and processes.
