Job Details

Job Summary: The Business Analyst - Automated Testing Support will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of automated testing processes with an external vendor. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in both business analysis and software testing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for automated testing in the format needed by the Vendor
    • Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications for the external vendor.
    • Ensure requirements are clear, comprehensive, and testable.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the external vendor.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and communications with the vendor to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to project timelines and quality standards. report to PMO
  3. Test Planning and Coordination:
    • Assist in the development of automated test strategies and plans.
    • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of test scripts and test data.
    • Ensure proper configuration and management of test environments.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Review and validate test cases developed by the vendor and work with Projects to ensure they meet business requirements.
    • Conduct preliminary testing to identify defects and work with the vendor to resolve issues.
    • Ensure thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and defects.
  5. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and present regular status reports on automated testing activities to stakeholders.
    • Document and maintain comprehensive records of testing activities, issues, and resolutions.
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on testing outcomes.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Liaise with business users, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users during the testing phase.
    • Provide training and support to business users on automated testing tools and processes.
