Title- SAP GTS Consultant

Location- Atlanta, GA

Job Overview

• The SAP GTS Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) module to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to streamline global trade processes, including customs management, export/import controls, and trade preference handling.

Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration
• Configure and customize SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management).
• Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (SD, MM, EWM, TM) and external systems.
• Set up legal regulations (e.g., export controls, embargo checks, sanctions screening).
• Compliance & Legal Updates
• Understanding and implementing international trade regulations, including sanction list screening and legal controls
• Update SAP GTS with the latest legal changes (e.g., HTS codes, export control lists
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws (e.g., OFAC, EAR, ITAR, Customs regulations).
• Integration
• Working with SAP ECC systems (SD, MM, PP), understanding integrations between GTS and other modules, and potentially managing IDoc communication.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills
• Expertise in SAP GTS (Compliance, Customs, and Risk Management).
• Knowledge of SAP SD, MM, EWM, and TM integration
• Understanding of EDI, IDocs, and ALE for trade data exchange
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA GTS (preferred)

Experience & Education: 5+ years of SAP GTS implementation/support experience/ Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, IT, or related field.

Certifications: Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) / SAP GTS Certification
