Job Description:
  • The ServiceNow Architect will lead the design, development, and governance of ServiceNow solutions to support enterprise objectives.
  • This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions.
  • The architect will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor technical teams, and drive strategic roadmapping for the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architectural design of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on Development: Configure, customize, and develop complex functionalities, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship, perform code reviews, and guide developers and administrators on best practices and problem-solving.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and design documents.
  • Integration & Automation: Design and implement integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, etc.) and drive automation across the platform.
  • Platform Governance & Optimization: Define and enforce architectural standards, governance, and security models while proactively addressing performance and scalability.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Contribute to the platform s long-term roadmap by evaluating new ServiceNow features and recommending enhancements.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience.

  • Deep Platform Expertise:

    IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM): Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM): Software and Hardware Asset Management.
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Expertise in CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Proven experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub).
  • Skilled in platform administration: business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and client scripts.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to mentor and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other advanced certifications.
  • Experience: Exposure to additional modules such as Workplace Service Delivery, HRSD, GRC, SecOps, or CSM.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and ITIL principles.
