We are currently seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Software Developer to join our team in Canada.

Summary:
The project team is seeking experienced and skilled MS Dynamics Programmer/Developer to join the team to successfully deliver this solution. We require a highly skilled a MS Dynamics Programmer that can bring ideas and solutions to the table, who can work independently to deliver what's expected on time and be part of this important initiative. The developer will collaborate with the Integrity Services Branch, the Mainframe application team, the Database team and the Application team to build a new Cloud-based solution.

All tasks detailed below are to be conducted against the Azure tenancy infrastructure, the associated Microsoft Power Platform, and specific solutions developed on Dynamics 365.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client's requirements and Business Process Flows to design, develop, test and implement a Case Management Proof of Concept for the Replacement project.
  • Create and modify code and software using CRM Dynamics 365 Azure Cloud and Power Platform.
  • Ensure reusability of components and use of out of the box functionality from CRM Dynamics & Power Platform
  • Prepare work and operate within an agile environment using DevOps with Open-Source tools.
  • Develop a prototype model to ensure the solution is being built and reference architecture for interoperability meets the required technology and business needs and operates according to design in the Cloud environment.
  • Conduct unit testing, and correct defects reported by the system testing and UAT teams.
  • Migrate legacy data as needed and design, propose and implement security models leveraging Power Apps Platform (Dynamics 365) technologies.
  • Provide technical advice, support and guidance to management, technical staff and clients in the planning, design, development, integration, testing, and implementation of the Case Management Proof of Concept.
  • Ensure the integration of all aspects of Power Platform/CRM Dynamics technology solutions.
  • Actively participate in daily scrums meetings and Sprints reviews as per the agile (DevOps) approach to support the client and stakeholders to deliver a usable and robust product.
  • Support the Project Lead, Scrum Master and Product Owners surrounding the alignment of the system with current Enterprise Architecture vision and the Power Apps Platform integration capabilities.
  • Interact with the development and project teams to understand schedule dependencies, resolve cross-team issues, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Provide status reports (progress, challenges, option analysis) to project and development team members.
  • Transfer relevant functional and technical knowledge to development employees and client staff through formal and informal channels.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Must have 10+ years' experience within the last fifteen years as Microsoft Dynamics Programmer/Software Developer.
  • Must have 3+ years' experience within the last seven years using CRM Dynamics 365 Azure Cloud and Power Platform.
  • Must currently hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided. If applicable, a copy of Canadian equivalency must be provided as well.
Deliverables:
  • Provide feedback on detailed architecture for solution components to ensure alignment with business process needs and overall solution architecture principles.
  • Create and maintain a High-level Design Document of the Case Management solution, including Data Dictionary and Entity relationships.
  • Create and maintain data flows.
  • Create and maintain Plug-ins documentation - their purpose, code, etc.
  • Create, update and review the Azure DevOps backlog (User Stories / Work Items).
  • Create tasks associated with user stories to document requirements questions.
  • Update user stories as needed to add implementation notes.
  • Actively participate in agile/scrum ceremonies.
  • Weekly status reports (Progress, Challenges, Backlog items, etc.).
  • Weekly presentations, demos and execution of the work performed during the agile/scrum ceremonies.
  • Create post-engagement review/lessons learned documents.
  • Update project status documentation, as needed, by the due date.
  • Ensure completion of knowledge transfer prior to end of contract.
