PeopleSoft Functional Analyst

Location: Oceanfront, NJ. NJ residents - hybrid (onsite on Wednesdays). NY / PA residents - onsite one Wednesday per month. Candidates must be in NJ / NY / PA.

Duration: Permanent, full time (direct hire)

Our healthcare client is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst to join their Enterprise Business Information Systems team. This newly created role will support PeopleSoft HR modules and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and optimize system functionality. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PeopleSoft HR, Payroll, Compensation, ESS, and MSS modules, and a strong understanding of testing methodologies and system design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional support for PeopleSoft HR, Payroll (North America), Compensation, ESS, and MSS modules.
  • Collaborate with technical analysts, project teams, and business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements.
  • Support system design, data conversions, and implementations, including upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
  • Promote use of delivered PeopleSoft functionality and minimize customizations.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in configuration, testing, and support of related applications.
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution of ERP initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Associate's or higher degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience with PeopleSoft implementations, data conversions, and functional documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with technical and business teams; familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
