Description: Our client is currently seeking a Product Owner/HYBRID
***All candidates must currently be living in Rhode Island/Massachusetts, or Connecticut and be able to work a Hybrid schedule***
The Product Owner plays a critical role in shaping the roadmap and vision of Data and Insight products.
This role combines strategic product ownership with strong analytical capabilities to drive customer-centric solutions and ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Managers to refine and execute the product vision for Data and Insight offerings.
Lead customer engagements to gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and deliver product demonstrations.
Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
Own and manage the product backlog, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Create and maintain customer-specific documentation including business process flows, functional specifications, and configuration questionnaires.
Support pre-sales activities and represent the product in customer-facing presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Legal, and Security to ensure product readiness.
Provide post-launch support and guidance to drive product adoption and usage.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner along with experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
Proven experience in requirements gathering and large-scale conversion projects.
Strong analytical skills with experience using Power BI and/or Tableau.
Customer-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, quick learner, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Polarian and/or Jira is a plus.
Solid understanding of SDLC and modern product management methodologies.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in transaction processing systems (e.g., lottery, banking, fintech).
Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage international stakeholders.
