Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in St. Louis, MO. Youwill be responsible for building secure, scalable microservices and optimizing application performance while ensuring compliance with engineering best practices.
Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies to support continuous improvement and team collaboration.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation and process enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years in software development, with strong experience in Java and PCF.
- Proven expertise in building secure, scalable applications using Java APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing, Git-based CI/CD workflows, and Agile development practices.
