Title: Certified Forensic Evaluator (NC)
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina |Hybrid - Onsite
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Role Description
- Must have completed training (6) hours at the Pre Trial evaluation center at Central Regional. This is a contract hybrid role for a Certified Forensic Evaluator located in Greensboro, NC.
- The Certified Forensic Evaluator will be responsible for conducting comprehensive forensic evaluations, compiling detailed reports, and providing expert testimony in court.
- Additional tasks include collaborating with legal and clinical teams, maintaining accurate records, and staying updated with best practices and legal standards in forensic psychology.
- Evaluations are performed in the jail as well as via telehealth in specific circumstances.
- They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to treatment planning and recommendations. Demonstrate ability to meet program and/or accreditation standards, ensure quality clinical documentation requirements as set forth by (MCOs, CARF, and the state of NC), and other standards of accountability including clinical record documentation, assessments, outcome measurements, and Quality Management functions (Service quality).
- Responsible for the implementation of best practice and emerging practice protocols. Must have excellent rapport with Judges & Attorneys.
Qualifications
- Experience in forensic evaluations, report writing, and courtroom testimony
- Strong analytical, observational, and diagnostic skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Fully Licensed Clinician in NC (LCSW, LPC, Psychologist)
- Certification as a Forensic Evaluator in NC
- Knowledge of legal standards and practices in forensic psychology
- Experience in mental health advocacy and support is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
