Job Title: Systems Analyst
Location: Austin, TX

Interview: via Microsoft Teams
Schedule: 2 days remote (Wednesdays & Fridays), 3 days onsite (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Job Description
The Systems Analyst role is responsible for analyzing business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions, and performing studies and cost/benefit analyses of those alternatives. The analyst will review and evaluate user requirements, operational procedures, and potential system improvements to automate processes or enhance existing systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Conferring with stakeholders to analyze current procedures, identify challenges, and define input/output requirements.
Writing detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps needed to develop or modify programs.
Reviewing system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility.

The role also emphasizes UI/UX design as part of improving accessibility, usability, and responsiveness of eligibility systems.
Responsibilities include:
Leading user research and journey mapping to uncover opportunities for optimization.
Designing wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies in line with accessibility guidelines and branding standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying best practices in UI/UX design.
Facilitating discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning.
Utilizing tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Hotjar, and employing usability testing, responsive design, and SEO optimization strategies.
Designing interfaces for AI/ML systems, focusing on explainable AI (XAI) and human-AI interaction.
Building solutions for complex business logic and regulatory environments (e.g., government, healthcare, finance).
Creating clear and concise data visualizations of complex data and AI insights.
Advocating for user-centered design and ensuring compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
Candidate Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
11 years of experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for enterprise systems, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
11 years of experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into intuitive, accessible, and branded design solutions.
10 years of applying UX design principles (hierarchy, contrast, alignment) to create responsive and accessible web/mobile interfaces.
10 years of creating wireframes and prototypes that support agile development cycles, including transitions from sketches to high-fidelity visuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives (timelines, workflows, system architecture).
3 years of experience facilitating design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders.
3 years with a Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent experience may substitute).
3 years of experience managing multiple design streams across concurrent projects.
