Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking
Familiarity with CMS or database systems, with the ability to learn proprietary platforms
Experience with remote meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and AV systems
Ability to analyze and compile data for reporting purposes
Procurement experience, including comparative quote analysis
Experience with Microsoft SQL server
Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Experience working in a multi-agency or enterprise-level IT environment is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hardware & Software Management:
Order, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and peripheral hardware for office and courtroom use
Install, update, and troubleshoot software on staff computers, specifically Tybera e-suite
Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses
System Administration Summary:
Administer and support the agency's Case Management System (CMS)
Instruct staff on proper CMS usage to ensure accurate data entry and reporting
Troubleshoot system issues and act as liaison with CMS vendor when necessary
Coordination with State IT:
Collaborate with the Nevada Governor's Technology Office (GTO), which hosts the agency's systems on statewide infrastructure
Coordinate on server issues, application performance, access permissions, and deployment of system updates
Ensure compliance with state IT standards, procedures, and security protocols
Video & Communication Systems
Assess needs and install camera/video systems for interoffice communication
Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing and hybrid meeting systems
Data & Reporting:
Compile and maintain required statistical reports for annual or ad hoc reporting purposes
Ensure data integrity and assist with data extraction and formatting
Procurement & Supplies:
Research, obtain, and compare vendor bids and estimates for IT-related purchases
Order office supplies and maintain office equipment
Testing Administration:
Administer and manage the agency's online certification exam platform for authorized representatives appearing before the court
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide front-line support to all agency staff for IT-related issues
Demonstrate dynamic problem-solving skills to address unexpected technical challenges
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and IT policies
Contribute to IT continuity and transition planning
Deliverables:
Fully functional and updated computer and video systems in both regional offices
CMS functioning with accurate user data and compliance with reporting requirements
Statistical reports delivered on time and in required formats
Equipment and software procurement completed with competitive quotes and proper documentation
Updated documentation of IT systems, policies, and support guides
Effective coordination with the Nevada Office of IT for system hosting and performance needs
Smooth transition from current Information Systems Manager role with no interruption to services
