At Shield AI, our mission is clear: to protect the lives of service members and civilians through the power of intelligent systems. The Hardware Test Engineering team plays a critical role in fulfilling this mission by developing innovative test solutions that ensure exceptional reliability across our V-BAT platform and next-generation aircraft.
We design and build custom electrical and mechanical test equipment in-house, enabling rigorous component- and system-level evaluations under both ambient and simulated extreme conditions. In this role, you'll contribute by designing test PCBs, automating test sequences using Python, and creating test fixtures with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electrical equipment. You'll also gain hands-on experience with advanced testing methodologies including HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening), ESS (Environmental Stress Screening), and HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing).
Join us in building the most reliable aerospace hardware in the industry-and help us save lives through engineering excellence.
