Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality programs within a modern CNC-based manufacturing facility
  • Oversee product quality, supplier certification, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as the company's Quality Management Representative for ISO systems
  • Maintain and improve the ISO-certified quality system and ensure compliance across the organization
  • Apply statistical and non-statistical quality assurance tools to drive process excellence
  • Manage corrective actions, conduct supplier audits, and support customer quality communications
  • Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) across machining operations
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure product reliability and manufacturability
  • Support and train personnel in quality standards and practices
  • Program and utilize CMMs (PC-DMIS and SmartProfile experience a plus)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality; leadership experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of GD&T and machining operations
  • ISO Management Representative or ISO system experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills

Nice to Haves

  • ASQ certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • CMM programming experience preferred; PC-DMIS and SmartProfile familiarity beneficial
  • Experience in CNC-driven, high-precision manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on involvement with statistical quality control systems
  • Background in ISO audits, supplier certification programs, or test automation
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
