Job Description
We are seeking an AI DevSecOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Vertex AI, IBM WatsonX Orchestrate, and secure cloud-native pipelines. This role focuses on embedding security across the entire software development lifecycle while supporting AI-driven platforms and large-scale digital applications.
You will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to automate security controls, harden cloud deployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and support enterprise-grade AI solutions.
This is a highly impactful role contributing directly to secure, scalable healthcare technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
Secure CI/CD & Automation
  • Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Integrate automated code quality, security scans, and compliance gates.
Cloud Security (Google Cloud Platform Focus)
  • Embed IAM, VPC Service Controls, workload identity, and secure communication into cloud-native solutions.
  • Strengthen Google Cloud Platform workloads with policy and configuration hardening.
AI Platform Security
  • Secure Vertex AI and IBM WatsonX Orchestrate integrations.
  • Ensure model governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
Infrastructure as Code
  • Build secure IaC templates using Terraform or Google Cloud Platform Deployment Manager.
  • Automate provisioning of cloud resources with compliance in mind.
Container Security
  • Implement container hardening and secure orchestration using GKE, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Use tools like PodSecurity Policies, Kyverno, and image vulnerability scanners.
Vulnerability Management
  • Integrate SAST, DAST, dependency scanning using SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP ZAP.
  • Triage and remediate vulnerabilities with engineering teams.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
  • Work with SOC teams to define logging, integrate SIEM tools (Google Chronicle, IBM QRadar), and support incident workflows.
Governance & Policy Automation
  • Enforce security standards with policy-as-code and automated guardrails.
  • Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure architecture decisions.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on DevSecOps advancements, cloud trends, compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST), and drive innovation.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering experience
  • 2+ years implementing security in CI/CD pipelines
  • 2+ years Cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
  • 2+ years Kubernetes/Docker container security
  • 1+ year Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.)
  • 1+ year vulnerability scanning & remediation
  • 1+ year Google Cloud Platform security services (IAM, VPC SC, Cloud Armor)
  • 1+ year securing Vertex AI & IBM WatsonX Orchestrate
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scripting: Python, Bash, or Go
  • Policy-as-code (OPA, Sentinel)
  • Compliance: HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST
  • Secrets Management: Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.
