Project Manager - Advanced Tech & Manufacturing Integration
Location: Onsite - Redmond, WA
Contract: 6-Month W2
Pay Rate: $71-$81/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Flexible 8-hour shift covering factory hours: 6am-2am, 7 days/week

Russell Tobin is partnering with a world-renowned innovator at the intersection of aerospace, cloud computing, and hardware technology to bring aboard a Project Manager to support critical manufacturing and production operations. This team is building the future of satellite-based solutions and your leadership will be key to making launch-ready operations seamless and successful.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate manufacturing and production activities for advanced Satellite Assembly, Integration & Testing (AI&T) efforts.

  • Set and drive deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor key performance metrics.

  • Support technical execution of engineering and acceptance testing workflows.

  • Keep factory schedules aligned with production expectations across a complex operating window.

  • Regularly update and manage Smartsheet, JIRA, and Confluence for reporting and project tracking.

  • Escalate and triage failures with a strong problem-solving mindset.

  • Prepare status reports for internal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in project management or manufacturing coordination.

  • Proven experience in aerospace or defense hardware manufacturing.

  • Deep familiarity with acceptance testing and engineering execution processes.

  • Skilled in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet (2-4 years each).

  • Strong quality assurance background in a high-reliability production environment.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with stakeholders, engineers, and operations teams.

  • Natural problem solver with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in program coordination within aerospace/defense sectors.

  • Hands-on experience with hardware systems and a strong technical acumen.

  • Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and shifting priorities across multiple teams.
