Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: 100% Remote Contract Duration - 6 Months Contract with a possibility of an extension

Pay rate $50 Per hr on W2


We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our client s dynamic and growing organization. The primary goal for this position will be to assist in development and administration of ServiceNow. The ServiceNow Developer will provide tools and resources necessary for successful implementation and use of industry best practices including but not limited to ITIL Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management, Configuration Management and Request Fulfilment. This individual will guide the integration and organizational adoption of ITSM processes, standards, policies, and controls. Duties will include the following:

  • Develop ITSM process activities through the development of policies, processes and procedures to establish a standard methodology/practice that will optimize customer service support and delivery performance.
  • Communicate process standards to ensure understanding across the organization.
  • Attend and contribute to peer/customer meetings involving technical subject matter experts and Client persons.
  • Implement, configure, and administer ServiceNow, enabling ITSM processes.
    • These activities would include, but not limited to adding and modifying workflows, assisting data warehouse team, updating ITSM system configuration in support of changes, etc.
  • Work with process/service owner to define the configuration management process and the necessary policies.
  • Research, review and analyze effectiveness and efficiency of procedures, and develop strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with ITIL best practices to enable continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • 2-4 years of recent, professional technical or administrative experience with ServiceNow.
  • Previous experience writing Policy/Procedure regarding ITSM best practices.
  • Previous experience with Database reporting tools.
  • Previous experience with Business Process Re-Design/Improvement (BPR/I).
  • Proficient in JavaScript.
  • Knowledgeable in Programming/Scripting experience in Java, PowerShell, and/or SQL a plus.

Preferred Skills and Expertise:

  • ITIL Certification

Understanding of Jelly, JEXL, HTML, XML, Bootstrap, and/or AngularJS a plus.
