Software Engineers

Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has 4 (four) openings for Software Engineers on a bid for CA DSH. Positions will start in October.

DURATION: 3 years

LOCATION: Primarily Remote; but travel to state hospital locations may be required. It is estimated that the key staff may be asked to travel up to 2 trips per quarter based upon needs. Locations Are: Sacramento, Atascadero, Norwalk, Coalinga, Patton or Napa.

No third parties - only direct W2 please.

Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field or additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• At least three years' experience Integration toolsets and APIs desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design and programming. At least 3 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
• At least 3 years data protection and security best practices including understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI) desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in C# .NET.
• At least 5 years experience in any combination of: Leading Technical Teams in programming application solutions and/or coaching and training within the adopted cloud solutions and consulting/peer current on-premises framework desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in any combination of Dynamics CRM and/or Power Apps programming
• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in EHR integration desired.
• Minimum of two years of experience migrating from on-premises to cloud utilizing industry best practices.
• At least 3 years experience in Azure Cloud experience desired.

Day to Day Tasks

• Plan, develop, and implement an overall application architecture for both on-premise and cloud solutions, including online transactions, online analytical processing, data warehousing, data lakes, and monitoring and notification tools.
• Plan, develop, and implement data migration solutions for moving data from an on-premises environment to a cloud environment.
• Establish a framework for API / Service-based development by creating and maintaining a technical playbook for developers based on API, Service, and Event-Driven architecture.
• Design and implement security best practices. Provide ability to audit the data processes. Implement data protection in regard to Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Act as a Team Lead and coach Team Members on implementing best practices for software development.
• Prepare and deliver all documents and artifacts required for DSH staff to perform Agile Methodology and Enterprise Architecture.
