Job Details

Join the world s largest renewable construction organization as a key member of our Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. This role requires an independent, highly organized, and proactive Project Manager who can manage a portfolio of early-stage solar projects from initial screening through diligence and early development, ensuring a seamless transition to Late-Stage Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a portfolio of early-stage solar projects through screening, diligence, and early-stage development.
  • Evaluate technical, commercial, and financial data to ensure projects are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and commercial requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineering teams, permitting, development, and commercial partners.
  • Lead problem resolution, drive project optimization, and prepare projects for handoff to Late-Stage Project Management.
  • Take ownership of project capital budgets, monitor variances, and ensure financial viability across your portfolio.
  • Utilize project management tools and software to track deliverables, analyze data, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Support process improvements, tools, documentation, and training within the broader Early-Stage team.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, suppliers, permitting authorities, local communities, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills
  • Mechanical/technical awareness or interest in technical project variables
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
  • Proactive, solution-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage fast-paced, high-pressure situations
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
