Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Application Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI-driven solutions that optimize process efficiency, automate complex engineering workflows, and unlock business enablement across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with Process Engineering, Automation, and Business Enablement teams to deliver scalable AI applications from MVP to production demonstrating the true power of AI in transforming engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Solution Design

Architect end-to-end AI solutions including Vision Models, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Graph-based AI systems, Agentic AI workflows, and text-to-SQL pipelines.

Define AI/ML system architecture to support scalable, secure, and automated workflows aligned with business objectives.

Establish best practices for model serving, data pipelines, and MLOps.

Application Development & Engineering Collaboration

Work closely with process engineers and automation stakeholders to understand workflow challenges and translate them into intelligent applications.

Lead development of AI-powered web applications and MVPs using React/React Native, integrating backend services, LLMs, and data pipelines.

Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems.

Process Optimization & Workflow Automation

Build advanced solutions to increase RHE (Resource Handling Efficiency) and improve overall transfer and engineering processes.

Automate the conversion of complex vendor documents (PDFs) into structured formats such as Excel, SFA, PDTT, and SDTT, enabling seamless engineering and departmental handoff.

Design intelligent workflow engines that route, populate, and validate engineering documentation across multiple teams.

Data & Document Intelligence

Develop pipelines for document parsing, OCR (optical character recognition), visualization, and structured data extraction.

Implement LLM-powered agents that convert unstructured PDFs into desired engineering formats with high accuracy.

Ensure quality, validation, and consistency of automated document outputs.

Technology Leadership & Innovation

Champion AI capabilities internally, demonstrating practical business value and driving adoption across engineering and process teams.

Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering culture grounded in experimentation, rapid iteration, and scalable production design.

Advance the organization s long-term AI vision, architecture roadmap, and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or related field

Strong background in software development and system architecture (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).

Expertise in Large Language Models, RAG, Machine Learning, NLP, and Vision AI.

Proven experience developing web applications (React / React Native preferred).

Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams and translate technical requirements into AI solutions.

Preferred

Experience in process automation or engineering-focused workflows.

Familiarity with workflow engines, orchestration frameworks, and agentic AI design patterns.

Knowledge of converting technical documents, CAD/engineering files, or PDFs into structured datasets.

Understanding of knowledge graphs and enterprise data modelling for AI applications.
