Role: Cloud Senior Test Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long term

Description Core Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute test cases for the Connexion portal and other CMS-hosted applications.
• Validate application functionality in cloud environments with a focus on compliance and security.
• Collaborate daily with Agile teams, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Use TestRail for test plan management, test execution tracking, and results documentation.
• Log, manage, and track defects using Jira, and maintain all test documentation and user stories in Confluence.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and compliance testing aligned with CMS standards.
• Ensure test coverage for updates, security patches, and performance enhancements before deployment.
• Support process improvement by analyzing testing metrics and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Agile testing methodologies and sprint-based development environments.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for test coordination and collaboration.
• Experience testing applications hosted in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with Medicare systems or similar healthcare domain experience.
• Hands-on experience with TestRail, HP ALM, or similar test management tools.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools, such as: Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman (for API testing).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for version control, automation, and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of managing cloud-based analytics pipelines is a plus.
