Job Title: Sales Manager Technical Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Federal Sales Manager to lead business development efforts for our technical solution targeting U.S. federal agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal sales and IT/technical solution selling. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with federal contacts, and driving end-to-end sales cycles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue federal sales opportunities across civilian and defense agencies.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key federal stakeholders, procurement officers, and decision-makers.

  • Lead outreach, presentations, and solution demonstrations to promote the company s technical solution.

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales follow-up.

  • Collaborate with internal technical and proposal teams to prepare RFP responses, capability statements, and tailored pitches.

  • Stay updated on federal procurement trends, contracting vehicles, and compliance requirements (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA schedules).

  • Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in federal sales or business development preferably selling IT or software/technical solutions.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding federal sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and contracting vehicles.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

  • Active network within federal agencies is a strong plus.
