Job Title: Sales Manager Technical Solutions

About the Role
We are seeking a Federal Sales Manager to lead business development efforts for our technical solution targeting U.S. federal agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal sales and IT/technical solution selling. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with federal contacts, and driving end-to-end sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue federal sales opportunities across civilian and defense agencies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key federal stakeholders, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
Lead outreach, presentations, and solution demonstrations to promote the company s technical solution.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales follow-up.
Collaborate with internal technical and proposal teams to prepare RFP responses, capability statements, and tailored pitches.
Stay updated on federal procurement trends, contracting vehicles, and compliance requirements (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA schedules).
Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (Master s preferred).
5+ years of experience in federal sales or business development preferably selling IT or software/technical solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding federal sales targets.
Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and contracting vehicles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
Active network within federal agencies is a strong plus.
