Title: Enterprise Architect - Integrated Eligibility and Enrolment (IE&E)
Location: Waterbury, Vermont (Fully Remote)
Duration: 15 months (Extension possible)
Hours: A workload of 35-40 hours per week is estimated during State working hours only 7:45AM-4:30PM Eastern Time and not working on State holidays.
Note: The work will be performed in Remotely.
Job Description
Trigyn's direct government client based out of Vermont, has a long-term contract assignment for Integrated Eligibility and Enrolment (IE&E) Enterprise Architect (Remote). The particulars of the position are as follows.
Description:
At the direction of the Program Office, consultant shall work with EA (Enterprise Architect) and IaaS provider in the support and analysis of the infrastructure supporting IE&E workstreams.
Work may include but will not be limited to the following:
Development of architecture roadmaps and implementation plans
Analysis and readiness plans for adaptation of new processes or technologies
Architecture governess
Architectural diagrams
Integration architecture
Disaster recovery planning
Alternative analysis
Consult and advise State on architecture changes to IE&E infrastructure
RFP input and review
Contract input and review
Participate in the Operational Change Review Board (OCRB) for Architecture Changes
Infrastructure Non-Functional requirements
Reviews IaaS configurations
Design document development
Architectural design roadmap
Oracle Software design and integration
The EA (Enterprise Architect) will be considered a member of the Chief Program Office, Division of Enterprise Architecture. The EA will report to the Chief Program Officer (CPO) or a delegate appointed by the CPO. The EA will be responsible for the following:
Attend an agreed-upon number of informational and status meetings and, when appropriate, call and lead such discussions. Discussions may take the form of project meetings. Discussions will include design sessions with Enterprise Architects, business-sponsored meetings, appointments to Steering Committees, Project Management, appointed State IT Executives, Agency Program Managers, and other consultants designated by the State.
The EA will have the following requisite skills and experience to perform any or all of the following as directed by the Chief Technology Officer or designee in support of State technology initiatives:
Experience working within an Architecture Framework such as TOGAF or FEAF.
Experience working within at least two Architecture Domains
Business Architecture
Application Architecture
Information/Data Architecture
Technology Architecture
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work within a team
Ability to meet shifting deadlines
Ability to work within a set budget
Assigned Personnel will demonstrate the required technical skills and reliability to assist the client in completing the project consistent with the Directives of the Director of Enterprise Architecture, and the objectives set forth in the Project Charter, approved business case or guiding principles and other associated project documents. The consultant will work with the project team to ensure that all deliverables meet the quality standards as defined by the client including that each project be successfully executed and completed on time, within scope, and within budget using State-approved principles as set forth herein.
PROJECT DELIVERABLES:
The EA will produce the deliverables as required, including:
Weekly report to the CPO on the status of projects
Technology Roadmaps
Architecture Gap Analysis Report
Support in the procurement processes such as identifying needs through review of demonstrations, bid submissions or contracts
Current State Logical Architecture diagrams
Future State Logical Architecture diagrams
Architecture Vision documentation for use by business partners
System integration and data-flow diagrams
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Certification artifacts when applicable
