Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer specializing in data-side networking with deep expertise in enterprise networking infrastructure and cloud networking (AWS). This role requires hands-on experience in managing and architecting large-scale firewalls, routers, switches, and cloud-native network services. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CCIE certification and bring strong architectural, operational, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).

Configure and manage routers, switches (Cisco, Juniper), and firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).

Lead the design and integration of AWS networking (VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, NACLs, Security Groups, VPN).

Define and enforce network security policies, segmentation, and monitoring practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across on-prem and cloud environments.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to network strategy and roadmaps.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.

Valid CCIE (any track, preferred: Routing & Switching or Enterprise Infrastructure).

Strong experience with firewall and perimeter security technologies.

Deep expertise in Cisco networking equipment and architectures.

Hands-on AWS networking experience: building secure, scalable network topologies in the cloud.

Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (STP, VLANs, EtherChannel).

Proven experience in network performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident response.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SD-WAN technologies.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation (for networking).

Understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud connectivity models.

Experience in high-compliance or regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare).

Network automation experience (Python, Ansible)
