Description
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Southfield, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by providing technical assistance to end-users and maintaining IT systems. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting issues, managing hardware and software, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Provide support for both Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as productivity tools like Microsoft Office 365.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patch management, performance troubleshooting, and data backups.
Set up user accounts, manage permissions, and handle password resets within Active Directory.
Document technical problems, solutions, and workflows in the help desk ticketing system.
Track and manage IT assets, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner to non-technical users.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including Dell and Apple devices.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
Proficiency in Active Directory for account management and permissions.
Experience with backup technologies and configuration management.
Ability to troubleshoot and support productivity applications and collaboration tools.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Working knowledge of Cisco and Citrix technologies is a plus.
