Our client is a global organization, named one of the largest in the Automobile industry! They are rapidly growing and going through a robust digital transformation. The business and senior leadership have put a huge emphasis on technology initiatives and are looking for passionate team members to contribute to the growth and development of the technical environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled System Engineer I to join our client s Infrastructure and Operations team. As a System Engineer I you will provide white glove service and support to business units and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess a support background, excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering top-notch service. This position requires exceptional customer service, the ability to prioritize effectively, and strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. You must have proven experience working with senior leadership and providing white-glove level support.
Expectations of the Role
- Play a critical role in our IT support structure, providing intermediate to advanced level technical support to end-users facing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
- Install and set up equipment and hardware/software and perform upgrades when necessary.
- Support end-users through tickets and walk-up desk-side
- Provide white-glove level support to senior leadership.
- Act as an escalation point for L1 resources.
- Prioritize tickets and tasks independently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot computer system issues, including operating systems, hardware and software, networking, VPN, connectivity, anti-virus, and other network devices/peripherals, both remotely and on-site
- Work with leads and managers to help implement a new onboarding system and procedure.
- Once implemented, be the go-to for all onboarding requests and support
Required Experience
- 4+ years of experience providing both remote and desk-side support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating systems. At least 1+ year working within an enterprise environment
- Experiencing onboarding new hires.
- Experience supporting google workspace.
- Experience providing white-glove service to senior leadership.
- Active Directory administration.
- Windows administration.
- MS Office Suite and application support.
- Strong, customer skills and white glove service.
- Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computers.
- Ability to research solutions and multi-task.
Equivalent to US $65,000-$85,000
