Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate DSP/FPGA Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of demodulation algorithms and signal processing systems used in aerospace and flight test telemetry applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for demodulation and data recovery.
  • Develop and verify FPGA-based solutions using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams on the development and integration of telemetry systems.
  • Use MATLAB for signal analysis, algorithm modeling, and performance evaluation.
  • Support development of real-time telemetry systems, including interfacing with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and validation of both hardware and FPGA/firmware designs.

Key Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in signal processing and communications.
  • Solid foundation in digital signal processingsampling theory, and related math fundamentals.
  • In-depth understanding of modulation/demodulation techniques (e.g., AM, FM, QPSK, MSK).
  • Hands-on experience in FPGA design using Verilog or VHDL.
    • Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA platforms and tools (Vivado, ISE) is a plus.
  • Proficient in MATLAB for DSP algorithm development and simulation.
  • Experience with hardware and firmware integration, including system-level debugging.
  • Familiarity with embedded microcontroller systems is a plus.
  • Programming experience in C, C++, or C# is preferred.
