We are partnered with a Building Automation Contractor in the search of a HVAC Controls Software Engineer. Blend expertise in both HVAC systems and software development! You would be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software that controls heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in buildings. You'll ensure project requirements are met while maintaining quality, timeliness, and efficiency in designs.


Type: Direct Hire (no contract period)


Location: Fresno / 100% Onsite



Responsibilities:



  • Lead Systems Software Engineer: Develop lower and mid-level control systems databases & programs.

  • Commissioning Support: Execute initial systems point-to-point commissioning activities and troubleshoot network issues.

  • Testing and Training: Conduct pre-functional testing of system software code and participate in final systems functional testing. Lead end user/customer system training.

  • Project Management: Coordinate subcontractor installation, attend project coordination meetings, and manage field time and budgets.

  • Leadership and Development: Coach, mentor, and develop junior Systems Software Engineers.


Requirements:



  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge HVAC industry and building automation systems.

  • Experience with building low voltage systems.

  • Proficiency in computer-related drafting tools

  • T. Networking Protocols and SDLC
