<>Job Title: Sensory Specialist (Part Time role) </>
<>Location:Fremont, Michigan</>
<>Location Type: On-Site (Work Schedule: Only Tues, Wed, Thurs - in office 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)</>
<>Duration: 06 Month+ Contract </>
<>Pay Rate: $45-50/Hour On W2</>
<>Basic Qualifications:</>
  • Master's degree in Sensory Science, Food Technology, Food Science, or related fields, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Must have taken at least 1 sensory science course or have equivalent experience/education.
<>Experience Range:</>
  • Overall experience - 5 years

<>Roles And Responsibilities:</> Responsible for the development and management of sensory panels, execution of sensory research studies, and integration of sensory data with consumer preferences to drive product development.
<>Job Description:</>
  • Support development and management of internal sensory panels, including screening, training, and monitoring panelist performance.
  • Become a superuser of internal sensory software after training.
  • Support the roll-out of client best practices site-wide.
  • Manage and execute sensory research studies, including planning, organizing, and executing sensory panel sessions.
  • Analyze, interpret, and summarize sensory findings.
  • Collaborate with SPX Principal Scientist to integrate sensory and consumer data to ensure consumer preference.
