Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking an ServiceNow Techno-Functional Consultant to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design and propose ServiceNow solutions that meet client requirements, leveraging technical and functional expertise.
- Implementation: Configure and implement ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
- Technical Development: Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow's scripting languages (JavaScript, Jelly) and APIs.
- Functional Consulting: Provide functional expertise on ITSM / ITOM processes, including service desk operations, incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit business requirements from clients and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution quality and meet client requirements.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and other consultants, to drive business growth and deliver high-quality solutions.
Skill Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
3. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in ServiceNow implementation, configuration, and customization.
4. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including:
- ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog)
- Scripting languages (JavaScript, Jelly)
- APIs and integrations
- Data modeling and database design
5. Functional Skills: Strong understanding of ITSM processes, including:
- Service desk operations
- Incident management
- Problem management
- Change management
6. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
