About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) Senior Consultant to join our team in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in SAP GATP, responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of GATP functionalities within our SAP landscape. This role requires extensive experience in optimizing order fulfillment processes and ensuring accurate product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in SAP GATP implementation and enhancement projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP GATP solutions.
- Configure and optimize GATP functionalities such as Availability Check, Rule-Based Availability Check (RBA), Product Allocation, Backorder Processing (BOP), and Capable-to-Promise (CTP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GATP with other SAP modules (e.g., Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM)) and external systems.
- Provide expert guidance and support for GATP related issues, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for GATP processes, configurations, and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP GATP functionalities and best practices, including developments in SAP S/4HANA.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with various GATP functionalities including Availability Check, Rule-Based Availability Check (RBA), Product Allocation, Backorder Processing (BOP), and Capable-to-Promise (CTP).
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes and their integration with GATP.
- Proven experience in SAP GATP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), specifically in the GATP component.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA GATP.
- Familiarity with SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP).
- Prior experience in client-facing roles and leading small to medium-sized project teams.
- SAP Certification in Global Available-to-Promise or related modules.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
