Software Developer w/ 508 Compliance Experience-64635

Job Description:

Syneren is currently seeking Software Developers with 508 Compliance Experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a team atmosphere, takes pride in his/her work, and is committed to a highly proactive, process-driven approach. They should be able to take full responsibility of their work and work independently without supervision. They must have experience working on 508 implementations and/or 508 Certification.

Key responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Include some or all the following but not limited to:

• Engineers needed to work on web-server message processing and UI based applications.
• Tasks include PL/SQL package development and running regular and ad-hoc queries on Oracle Database, APEX UI development and Java development for interfaces.
• They need to be experience with could services include Microsoft Azure and AWS
  
• Proficient with version control.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years SQL experience (preferably with Oracle, including performing queries and developing PL/SQL scripts)
  
• 5 UNIX/Linux experience, including writing and running scripts, crontab use.
  
• 5 years high level language experience (Java preferred).
  
• 2years experience with 508 compliance;
  

Preferred:

• Experience with Oracle APEX and UI development
• Experience with Azure and AWS Cloud environments and migrating applications to the cloud
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic

• Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods in stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move throughout the office, including across longer distances such as from the building entrance to the workspace.
