Your Opportunity

Stantec's Water practice is seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Designer to join our highly successful water team working on an as-needed basis in the US South's Industrial marketspace. Primary responsibilities include subject matter expertise and project delivery for water treatment projects. We are looking for someone with experience in desalination technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute work involving advanced types of desalination principles and other related activities for new and existing industrial wastewater treatment and recycle projects.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise, technical guidance, and leadership in the development of innovative technical solutions for treatment process work.
  • Support and contribute to the development of reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, and construction submittal reviews calculations, models and other technical deliverables for treatment and infrastructure related projects.
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with clients on projects during planning, design, and construction.
  • Support and/or lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Experience with design of membrane & thermal water treatment processes and infrastructure.
Strong client service, project management, and/or design management skills.
Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.

Education and Experience

B.S. degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, M.S. preferred
Minimum of 20 years of water treatment experience

About the Team

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
