LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting a Technical Expert (IT Subject Matter Expert III) to support our contract at the IRS/CI in Fairfax, Virginia.

Location: 100% Remote

Position Overview:

LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as an IT Subject Matter Expert to provide support to our client. The IT Subject Matter Expert is responsible for high-level solutions for business applications, systems, cloud integration, portfolio alignment, infrastructure, and enterprise. They review current architecture, recommend methods for streamlining the enterprise for efficiency, modernization, security, new innovative technology integration and industry best practice; carefully weighing interdependencies to meet compliance and business objectives.

Strategic Integration and SME Services Across All TechOps Areas with specific focus on Technical Operations Center (TOC) responsible for IT services such as remote and in office network capabilities, application, and server administration, enterprise computing center management, and core smartphone and workstation management. TOC works closely with IRS IT and CI Cybersecurity to ensure alignment with Treasury Directives and Federal Security compliance, navigating significant constraints to meet CI workload demand for current and future rapidly changing technology.

These sections provide IT support for key CI initiatives including Refund Fraud Scheme Development, International Operations, Suspicious Activity Report Review Teams (SARRTs), Cybercrimes Units, Financial Crimes Task Forces, and Field Offices located across the country and foreign posts of duty throughout the world, in support of International and Domestic tax and related financial criminal investigations, forfeiture investigations and lead and investigation development efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES and SKILLS:
  • Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform: The ability to work with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents is essential for transforming workflows, developing new applications, and automating processes using low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in using Power BI to connect to various data sources, transform and visualize data, and share insights across the organization is crucial for analyzing and migrating data during the transformation process.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regular communication and collaboration between development and business teams are essential to clarify and confirm requirements, ensuring that the completed solutions adhere to defined requirements. ?
  • Familiarity with cloud capabilities (Azure, M365, AWS): Need to leverage new cloud capabilities.
  • Clearly communicate technical details to business and management staff
  • Perform data analysis which supports and enhances OIG information management systems and services
  • Experience with one or more data technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, C# etc.) and a willingness to learn how to leverage these technologies to improve business intelligence
  • Author and oversee design documents for approved projects.
  • Develop reports, dashboards & scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics using existing and emerging technologies and tools
  • Provide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members in the use of Microsoft Power BI and related technologies
  • Provide insight and recommendations on new and emerging technologies and concepts to CI team members
  • Eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • Able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Experience in CI environment a plus.


Required Qualifications:
  • Master's with at least 4 years' specialized experience or B.A or B.S with at least 6 years' specialized experience in related technology.
  • Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
