Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join a traveling team responsible for restoring and upgrading end-user systems impacted by ransomware. This hands-on role focuses on system recovery, network reintegration, and operating system migrations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Remediate ransomware-infected laptops, ensuring all systems are fully cleaned, restored, and secured.

Reconnect approximately 150 laptops to the corporate network, verifying connectivity and system performance.

Migrate user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including backups, compatibility checks, and post-migration validation.

Work closely with local IT teams to minimize downtime and ensure successful system restoration.

Maintain accurate documentation of remediation processes, configurations, and migration results.

Travel to various client sites as part of a coordinated field support team.
Qualifications:

Strong background in technical support, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.

Proficient in Windows 10/11 environments, network configuration, and system security practices.

Experience with ransomware remediation or large-scale endpoint recovery preferred.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Willingness to travel extensively as part of a project-based support team.
