Job Description:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
  • The Quality Assurance Engineer will define and execute testing strategies to validate new or enhanced functionality across applications.
  • This role involves both manual and automated testing, defect tracking, test documentation, and collaboration with development and product teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/Selenium in test automation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with industry-standard QA tools.
  • Proficiency in multiple test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to perform both API-level manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience:

  • Creating and executing manual and automated test scripts based on acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and test data.
  • Performing functional, integration, smoke, and non-functional testing.
  • Maintaining and updating automated test suites and frameworks.
  • Defect creation, documentation, triage, and follow-up.
  • Sharing feedback on sprint deliverables and quality during retrospectives.
  • Estimating QA resources and testing timelines.
  • Leading and mentoring other QA team members.
  • Integrating automated test scripts with CI pipelines.
  • Applying shift-left testing practices and enhancing automation efficiency.
  • Creating testing documentation, quality reports, and knowledge articles.
  • Participating in code reviews and improving overall software quality.

Skills:

  • Java, SQL, XML, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Karate, Postman.
  • Maven, CSS, HTML, Git/BitBucket, Jira/Confluence.
  • Understanding of web services, SOAP, REST, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ranorex, Jenkins, SauceLabs, Splunk.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
