Description
Role summary:
- The Apriso Integration Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting interfaces between DELMIA Apriso (formerly Apriso FlexNet) and SAP ERP/S4HANA, ensuring robust, reliable data exchange between manufacturing operations and the enterprise system. The role focuses on Apriso and interface behavior, while collaborating with SAP teams for any SAP-side configuration or development.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements for integrating Apriso with SAP across production, quality, warehouse, and logistics processes, focusing on the MES side and interface needs.
- Design end-to-end integration scenarios, data flows, and mappings (materials, BOMs, production orders, confirmations, inventory, quality results) from an Apriso perspective.
- Configure and extend Apriso integration components (Business Controls, web services, messaging, data transformations) while coordinating with SAP resources for their corresponding objects (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, etc.).
- Prepare functional and technical specifications for interfaces primarily on the Apriso side and align them with SAP integration and middleware teams.
- Plan and execute integration and system testing for MES SAP interfaces, including interface monitoring, error handling and performance checks from the Apriso environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface incidents impacting Apriso, performing root cause analysis and coordinating fixes with SAP and infrastructure teams when needed.
- Act as subject-matter expert for Apriso integration in implementation and rollout projects, including cutover and go-live support focused on MES and interface readiness.
- Create and maintain documentation for Apriso interface design, configuration, runbooks, and support knowledge base.
- Collaborate with business process owners, plant IT, SAP team, and MES team to ensure interfaces align with global templates and standards while remaining supportable from the Apriso side.
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DELMIA Apriso / Apriso FlexNet implementation, including configuration of key MES modules such as Production, Quality, Warehouse, or Logistics.
- Proficiency with Apriso technical components (Business Controls, Process Builder concepts, .NET/SQL-based extensions, data models) used to implement and support interfaces.
- Experience designing and supporting integrations between Apriso and ERP (SAP) using IDocs, BAPIs/RFCs, web services, or middleware, with primary responsibility for the Apriso and interface layer rather than SAP customizing or ABAP development.
- Experience with interface monitoring tools, error handling strategies, and performance optimization within the Apriso landscape.
- Participation in full lifecycle MES projects (fit gap, design, build, test, cutover, hypercare) where Apriso integrations played a key role.
Strong documentation and communication skills, able to work with global manufacturing and IT teams
