Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect (Oracle OCI)
Location: Springs Drive, Richmond, VA 23225
Note: Candidates should be in state and should be prepared to come into the office 4 days a week. Interview In-person Only
Must be local (in state) and not have to relocate
Job Description:
- Assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings.
- The position will work with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, as well as internal agency teams to ensure that architectures and environments provide efficient, effective, secure, and compliant solutions based on best practices and well architected frameworks.
- Documented experience with cloud architecture, operations and management in a public cloud environment - specifically Oracle's OCI.
- Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment.
- At least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience. 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
- Experience with implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups. load balancers, etc.
- Thorough understanding of customers' priorities and the business criticality of platforms, applications and services. Cloud certifications preferred within the Oracle OCI cloud environment
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8 Years Experience in Familiar with Cloud Native architecture paradigms, patterns and security methodologies.
- 4 YearsExperience designing solutions within and working with the Oracle OCI environment
- 4 Years Oracle OCI specific certifications (Cloud Ops, Architecture, Security, etc)
- 8 Years Experience with implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
- 8 Years Experience in Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups. load balancers, etc.
- 8 Years Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security and controls of an IT environment.

- 8 Years Experience working with configuration management and monitoring tools such as Fleet Application Management, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk, etc
- 8 Years Experience working with security and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP, etc
- 8 YearsExperience working with cloud native technologies such as containers, serverless workloads, functions, database as a service, etc.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and under specific deadlines
- Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information
- College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to review technical solutions for technical and fiscal accuracy
