ECS is seeking a Quality Control and Assurance Specialist to work in our Arlington, VA office (Hybrid) . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:

ECS is seeking talented professionals who love a challenge to join us in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. ECS is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete 'Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is a cloud-hosted solution comprised of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet DHS requirements.

ECS is seeking a Quality Control and Assurance Specialist to manage quality assurance activities and compliance with applicable contracts and corporate policies. The candidate will develop and maintain the quality management plan in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The candidate will also develop robust quality standards for documentation, processes, and program deliverable artifacts; tracking metrics, compliance, and standards to satisfy quality control requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing processes to identify quality improvement opportunities and identify macro trends to find efficiencies through process improvements.

Required Skills:
  • ship and ability to acquire Public Trust Suitability
  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years' experience providing quality control guidance, management, or oversight to include developing, maintaining, and enforcing a Quality Management Plan
  • At least 4 years' experience ensuring contract and corporate policy compliance
  • At least 2 years' experience overseeing contract deliverables and demonstrated successful compliance
  • At least 2 years' experience authoring processes, process standards, and documentation
  • At least 2 years' experience identifying, gathering, and communicating quality metrics and measurements to demonstrate compliance and meet customer requirements


Desired Skills:
  • Clear and effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with ALM tools, especially Jira
  • Experience working with Federal Government clients
