Job: Fortinet SDWAN Consultant

Location: Houston, TX - candidates can work remote hit they have to travel 4 times a year to corporate office in Houston.

Contract

Key duties include:

Provisioning of Fortinet FortiGate Firewall solutions
Cyber Security solution implementation & configuration
IP Network security implementation
Change & delivery management
Network provisioning & product deployment
Expert knowledge in Fortinet applications and software at least a service level 3 and have extensive knowledge
Introduce best practices/developing and supporting policy in the service activations build environment
Assist and share knowledge with the delivery team and technical back office
Support training and roll-out plans and assist in delivering training modules.
Strong ability to communicate with technical information and knowledge share
Assist with project delivery to create a framework to support the service activations team.
Work closely with key members and create knowledge share documents to be used in the wider business
The ability to work and monitor progress and work to key deadlines
Previous expertise in building relationships to drive the project forward and support in identifying key risks and challenges and better ways of working
End to end deployment
Participate in Process management
Participate in Governance & control
Training and mentoring and knowledge share

Overview:

The SDWAN Fortinet Expert will be responsible for the delivery, implementation & documentation of all orders across networks for fixed line WAN & SD-WAN telecommunications services. You will take ownership of a wide range of network security, firewall, and projects. Strong Cisco routing and switching is required.

Responsibilities:

You will work in the Network Implementation / Deployment department, which is accountable for the remote configuration of Enterprise Network Security solutions over the network infrastructure SDWAN infrastructure. You will be part of a team to build a working process and delivery this out to the existing teams.

Enablement & activation of security products within the Global Provide delivery chain
Plan technical deployments with project teams to design & implement network security services
Configure & implement new Fortinet Firewall products into live network environment
Coordinate implementation activity
Implement, deploy & provision managed WAN, IP, DMVPN solutions
Deploy bespoke solutions for customer requirements
Deliver customer solutions as per design/order requirement
Liaise with external suppliers to coordinate service delivery & order management activity
