Inventory Control Specialist ( Environmental Program )

Pay Rate $32/hr
Job Description:
Will work with inventory control systems software, logistics, and physical assets of client at their facility. Experience in accurately entering and retrieving data from product systems / software, electronic and physical storage software, shipping & receiving procedures, computer terminals, and bar-code readers. Will be around hazardous materials storage. Assist with material control, label printers, portable data collection devices (PDA's), scanners, scales, and workstations. The company uses buildings / facilities around the naval base which can be vast, and must be willing to travel to different building locations as needed. May require the need to wear safety gear such as: hard-hat, protective eye wear, steel toe boots, etc...

Required Skills:
- 2+ years experience with electronic inventory control systems software
- Experience with processes for reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Experience working in warehouse management environments and finding/locating materials within
- Experience with operating automated equipment, computer terminals, and barcode readers/scanners/wands.
- Experience with Safety Data Sheets/protocols
- Valid Drivers License or other government-issued ID for acquiring security access to the military base locations.
