Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide a broad range of data analysis functions including data modeling, SQL, data quality, data profiling, ETL, metadata enrichment and management, data provenance and lineage, and report design.
- Work under general guidance to design, develop, and support data management solutions aligned with business or enterprise technology needs.
Core Responsibilities:
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Assess data management requirements for data platforms, application systems, and servers.
- Conduct data profiling and quality assessments, and capture technical and business metadata.
- Ensure data compliance with enterprise standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to elicit and document data requirements.
- Contribute to business and data requirements documents, data models, and ETL implementation.
- Build and support reports using BI tools and SQL.
- Help users interpret and utilize data effectively.
Data Governance & Risk Management:
- Support data privacy, security, governance, and access control requirements.
- Assist in testing system changes and upgrades for data integrity and functionality.
- Maintain data catalogs and dictionaries for respective platforms.
- Capture metadata and data lineage compatible with enterprise tools and frameworks.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Coordinate with architecture, risk, and infrastructure teams to support project delivery.
- Gather, analyze, and map system data to meet reporting and analytical needs.
- Run QA reports and resolve data integrity issues.
- Develop solutions for data quality problems and support root cause analysis.
- Identify data trends, patterns, and insights in complex datasets.
- Support data initiatives with a strong understanding of governance principles and enterprise data strategy.

Day-to-Day Activities:
- Business Requirements Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Data Modeling: Design and maintain SQL-based data models and databases.
- ETL & Integration: Use Databricks and Alteryx to build and maintain data pipelines.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
- Automation: Use Python to automate tasks and develop data manipulation scripts.
- Data Governance: Use Collibra to support data cataloging, lineage, and compliance.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data workflows.
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst or BIS analyst role.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience working with database management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectivel
