- This job is a member of the Aircraft Configuration Engineering Team within the intergrated Operations Division.
- Responsible for developing analytic tools to distill data for analysis to improve aircraft reliability and identify safety and compliance risk. This role also drives reporting, programming quality and delivery integrity by close attention to solution planning, follow ups and details.
What you'll do
- Interfaces with multiple computer programs or software to manage daily work and task execution
- Develops and maintains advanced analytic models and processes
- Develops and maintains various reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Troubleshoots enterprise data systems and workflow to ensure data integrity
- Participates and leads cross-organizational projects and initiatives
- Performs coding/programming and requirements gathering
- Interfaces with IT to institutionalize new tools
- Trains others on new data tools
- Assists with complex ad-hoc data analysis as needed
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, related fields or equivalent experience/training
- 5 years of experience in programming languages and data tools such as R, Python, SQL, HTML, Java Script, C#, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Advanced degree (MS) in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- Knowledge of functional area and maintenance applications such as SAFE, APC, AMPS, SCEPTRE, K2 etc.
- 7+ years' experience in a technical professional environment
- Prior experience with recommender systems, text mining, and Natural Language Processing tools
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Azure Databricks, Alteryx data blending, R or Python programming, Data Mining/Big Data concepts and tools, Familiarity with Natural Language Processing, Knowledge of classification, statistical and machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of data tools and programming languages, such as Databricks, Alteryx, R, Python, SQL, HTML, Java Script, C#, NLP, Power BI
- Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent
- Interpersonal and communication skills
