Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
  • The Platform Support Lead serves as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues and provides technical guidance, process optimization, and customer engagement for BigQuery and related Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services.
  • This role involves troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and gathering product feedback to improve overall user experience and support quality.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance as the highest point of escalation for complex and high-priority customer issues involving BigQuery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to BigQuery architecture, data processing, and integrations with other Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Develop and implement improved support processes, including incident response, root cause analysis, and communication protocols.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a technical liaison between the support team and product management or engineering teams.
  • Gather customer feedback, identify recurring technical issues, and provide insights to inform product development.
  • Define and monitor key support performance metrics such as resolution time, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery, including data loading, SQL queries, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of related Google Cloud Platform services such as Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and senior management.
