Description
We are looking for a proactive Help Desk Coordinator to join our team in Struthers, Ohio. This role is pivotal in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of devices and software used across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
Configure and deploy a variety of devices including PCs, laptops, printers, and handheld devices.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows, Linux, and Android devices.
Facilitate new user onboarding by creating accounts, installing software, and ensuring proper system access.
Provide support for commercial software applications like Excel as well as proprietary systems.
Perform basic network troubleshooting and setup to maintain connectivity and performance.
Document technical issues and their resolutions in a ticketing system, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Regularly update procedural documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions effectively.
Respond promptly to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of user requests.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory for account management and permissions.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
Solid troubleshooting skills with experience in resolving hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with basic network setup and troubleshooting.
Experience documenting issues and maintaining procedural documentation.
Competence in handling service desk tickets and providing responsive support.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
