    Job Description:

    Our client is looking for an Agile Delivery/Release Manager to join their Global Technology, Employee Experience Technologies group. This is a core team that ensures that the banks employees have the technology and IT solutions to support their day-to-day activities.

    The Collaboration & Productivity team provide many of these essential solutions and experiences, including the Productivity applications e.g. Microsoft 365 Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint and other critical products and services for our employees.

    The Integrated Test & Release Strategy team is a horizontal team that works across all Productivity technologies to provide and drive consistent testing practices whilst ensuring compliance to enterprise policy and standards and additionally supports the organizations adoption of Global Technology's target operating model on our journey to an agile system design lifecycle framework.

    The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product and service solutions in an iterative and incremental manner. They facilitate Agile practices, ensure timely delivery, and foster continuous improvement to meet organizational goals and business expectations.

    Key responsibilities of the role include:
    • Coordinate multiple Agile teams to ensure smooth delivery of Microsoft 365 integrated release cycles.
    • Define and manage the coordination of monthly Microsoft 365 workstation client package engineering, testing and deployment across the enterprise.
    • Participate in/Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and Engineering team members to define release scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure timely release delivery.
    • Promote Agile principles and practices across teams and the wider organization.
    • Monitor release performance and provide coaching to improve Agile maturity.
    • Track and report on release progress, metrics, and delivery outcomes.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software engineering.
    • Manage and complete change control process and documentation
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives within teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Strong Knowledge
    • Understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proven experience in project or program management.
    • Ability to motivate and influence teams and stakeholders.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and technical concepts.
    • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
    • Conflict resolution and facilitation skills.
    • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
